Mugs and Cups An oak Chalice cup with green and silver epoxy resin inlay. I turned this from a branch from one of our trees at the house. An Oak stein with a deer antler handle. I made this cup out of oak. I had turned it to clean it up and let dry but it split. So just for fun I poured epoxy resin with a blue color into the crack and then turned it.It is 6 1/2 inches tall. 2 3/4 inches wide at the lip and 2 4/5 inches deep. This is a hand turned mug, made from Maple. The handle is deer antler. The lines I burned on the wood lathe and the rune markings I hand burned. It is food safe. So you can drink out of it. But it must be hand washed, not dishwasher safe. The mug is 7 1/2″ tall and 3 1/2″ in diameter. The atler used for the handle was shed.It holds 24 ounces of fluid.
